Decision: Rehearing by the Alberta Land Compensation Board of claims for compensation pursuant to the Expropriation Act, S.A. 1974, c. 27. Full taking of the Claimants' land for purposes of the widening of the Crowchild Trail in the City of Calgary. One of the Claimants was the fee simple owner and the other was a related company which occupied the subject property. The claims had been referred back to the Board following a successful appeal by the Claimants. On the rehearing the Board awarded the fee simple owner $98,775 for market value of the land taken plus regular interest and additional interest and costs. The Board also awarded the tenant $9,000 for disturbance damages plus interest and costs.
