| Alberta fall expropriation conference goes virtual |

| Restrictions on travel and large public gatherings due to the current COVID-19 pandemic have required a re-think of the fall expropriation conferences normally held each year at locations in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. The Alberta Expropriation Association has decided to cancel the in-person conference previously scheduled for Banff and conduct a virtual conference instead. According to the AEA website landcompensation.com the virtual Fall Conference is now scheduled for Oct 15 to 16, 2020. Details for the revised conference format have not yet been released but are expected soon. The other two expropriation associations in British Columbia and Ontario are expected to follow suit. |
