Energy East project application submitted to National Energy Board |

An application has been submitted to the National Energy Board for a proposed oil pipeline project that would run from Hardisty, Alberta, to Saint John, New Brunswick. The project contemplates the conversion of an existing gas pipeline for oil and construction of new pipelines. The total length of the project would be approximately 4,500 km. The applicants are TransCanada PipeLines Limited and Energy East Pipeline Ltd. |
