| Evergreen Line to commence operation |

| The Province of British Columbia announced earlier today that the latest extension to the SkyTrain rapid transit system will commence operation on Dec. 2, 2016. This extension, known for some time as the Evergreen Line Project, will extend the existing SkyTrain system 11 km. in a northeasterly direction from the connection point at the existing Lougheed Town Centre Station. While the Province has been responsible for construction of the extension operations will be handed over to TransLink, the existing system operator. TransLink intends to fully integrate the extension into the existing system. |
