| B.C. surface rights changes |

| Recent changes to British Columbia energy legislation have resulted in a name change for the Mediation and Arbitration Board. This Board is now known as the Surface Rights Board. The Board's jurisdiction is found in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act which was amended effective Oct 4, 2010. The name change is one of many changes to provincial energy legislation which took effect on the same date.
Coinciding with the name change the Board has established a new website at www.surfacerightsboard.bc.ca. The Board's offices are located in Richmond, B.C. |
