| The Alberta Property Rights Initiative is a recently established non-profit organization whose focus is to promote property rights in Alberta.
The APRI has established a website at www.apri.ca. According to the organization's website, the APRI is a non-partisan advocacy group.
The APRI was formed in early 2006 by Gordon Butler, Norm Ward, Link Byfield, Faye Engler, and Neil Wilson.
The group has proposed a provincial property rights statute which it hopes to promote for adoption by the Alberta legislature. A copy of the proposed statute is available on the website. |
