Decision: |
Appeal by the Claimants from the finding of a valuator appointed pursuant to the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority Act, 1964, S.B.C. 1964, c. 7. Full taking of four parcels of land located near the Arrow Lakes. The land was taken by the Authority to permit construction of a water storage reservoir. The valuator had awarded $35,376.00 in compensation. The Authority had previously made an advance payment of $30,000.00. The appeal was dismissed and the Authority was ordered to pay the additional compensation awarded by the valuator. Interest was also awarded on the compensation. Costs were awarded to the Authority. |
