Decision: Appeal by the Authority from a compensation award of the Alberta Land Compensation Board made pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26. No land was taken from the Claimant. However the Authority constructed highway works on land adjacent to the Claimant's property located in Edmonton. The highway works interfered with access to the subject property. The Board had awarded $2,435,000 in compensation plus interest and full costs. The appeal was dismissed.
