| ATCO Electric compensation policy |

| ATCO Electric is an Alberta based electric utility with headquarters in Edmonton. In December 2010 ATCO Electric produced a document summarizing the utility's compensation policy for landowners that would be affected by the proposed Eastern Alberta DC Transmission Line project. When the Expropriation Law Centre last checked in April 2016 a fact sheet containing the compensation policy and other project information was available on ATCO Electric's website. The transmission project was completed in 2015 and is now in operation so presumably no further land acquisition is required for this project. However the Expropriation Law Centre thought the compensation policy still has value for historical and research purposes so the fact sheet has been reproduced here. |
