The Plaintiffs alleged that the defendant had acquired the Plaintiffs' business and goodwill by reason of the adoption of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Act, R.S.C. 1970, c. F-13. The Plaintiffs had previously operated a fish sales business. It was held that the Act did not take away the existing property, business or goodwill of the Plaintiff company. The action was dismissed. |
