Full taking of two contiguous parcels of land located near Williams Lake totalling approximately 5.5 acres. A claim for special economic advantage pursuant to s. 30(2)(a) of the Act was dismissed. The Board awarded compensation in the amount of $262,000 for the market value of the land taken. A further award in the amount of $7,500 was made pursuant to s. 30(2)(b) of the Act for improvements not included in the market value of the land. The Board also awarded regular and additional interest plus costs. |
