Decision: Application for determination of compensation payable to the Plaintiff by the Defendant in a proceeding conducted pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.N.S. 1954, c. 91. Partial taking from two adjacent properties owned by the Plaintiff and located at Sydney River. The land was taken for highway purposes. At the date of expropriation the property was developed with a church. The taking severed the property into two remainder parcels. The court awarded compensation in the total amount of $56,000.
