Decision: Appeal by the owner from an award of compensation following an expropriation carried out pursuant to the Trent University Act, S.O. 1962-63, c. 192. The Respondent expropriating authority had taken 175 ac. of farm land and two waterfront lots comprising 3 ac. The subject property was located near Peterborough and was acquired to provide for the expansion of Trent University. At trial the Appellant had been awarded $67,690. On appeal the award was increased to $102,690 plus costs and interest.
