Ontario expropriation event set for October 25 & 26
September 23, 2001
The Ontario Expropriation Association (OEA) 2001 Fall Dinner, Seminar and Annual General Meeting will take place on October 25-26, 2001 in Toronto. By an amazing co-incidence, this event is scheduled for the same time as the British Columbia Expropriation Association 2001 Fall Seminar in Vancouver so anyone hoping to take in both events this year will be out of luck. The B.C. event is described in a previous news item.

The OEA program commences with a reception and dinner on the evening of Thursday, October 25. The guest speaker will be Paula Dill, Commissioner of Planning, City of Toronto.

The main program gets underway the next morning. The program will include discussions on school site acquisitions, highway expansion in Ontario, the annual case update and other topics. The OEA annual general meeting is also scheduled.

The program takes place at the Toronto Colony Hotel, 89 Chestnut Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The program brochure can be viewed online by clicking here if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer. Seminar registration will be handled by Sandy Wallace at the firm of Kellough, Pestl, Singh Associates Inc. located at 1070 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 1S4. Sandy's telephone number is (416) 752-1650 and fax is (416) 752-6124.
