Decision: |
Appeal by the Claimants from the compensation award of a valuator appointed under the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority Act, 1964, S.B.C. 1964, c. 7. The award followed an expropriation of four mineral claims located at the proposed location of the Mica Creek Dam on the Columbia River. The valuator had awarded the sum of $0.00 as compensation. On the appeal the court determined that the claims had a nominal value but nevertheless increased the award to $1,000 together with statutory interest. Each party was ordered to bear its own costs. |
