Appeal by an owner from an arbitrator's award of compensation made pursuant to the Railway Act, R.S.C. 1927, c. 170, and the Expropriation Act, R.S.C. 1927, c. 64. Full taking of a parcel of land located in the City of Saskatoon. The land was taken for the purpose of building a hotel. The arbitrator had awarded compensation in the amount of $6,750 plus costs. The appeal was allowed in part to remove mineral rights from the authority's expropriated title. The Appellant was ordered to pay three-fourths of the costs of the appeal. |
