Decision: Application to the Alberta Land Compensation Board for determination of compensation pursuant to the Expropriation Act, S.A. 1974, c. 27. Full taking of a 56,000 sq. ft. parcel of land located in the City of Calgary. At the date of taking the subject property was developed for use as a motel. The land was taken by the Respondent for purposes of a highway interchange. The Board awarded $493,000 for market value of the land taken and $906.70 as disturbance damages. The Board also awarded regular and additional interest and costs.
