Decision: Applications by several Claimants to the Alberta Land Compensation Board for determination of compensation payable following an expropriation conducted by the Respondent pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.A. 1980, c. E-16. Full taking of two adjacent parcels of land located outside the municipal limits of the Town of Grand Centre. The land was taken for purposes of a sewage lagoon. The subject property was held in different ownership but the parties agreed that the applications would be heard simultaneously. The Board awarded $955,000 for the market value of the first parcel and $1,285,000 for the market value of the second parcel. A further award of $115 for disturbance damages. The Board also awarded regular and additional interest and costs.
